Daisy is a male cockatiel (he came with the name) who needs a good home. He can whistle a few things like the "wolf whistle", and a few other notes. I was trying to teach him the Hustle but he didn't quite catch on to that. If you don't want him to sing anymore, you can just snap your fingers at him and he stops singing. White noise like a vacuum or water running starts his singing. He is mostly quiet though, very curious and loves when you open the cage and let him roam on top.... (read more) He loves chewing cardboard boxes and cuttle bones. He will take a bath if you put a shallow bowl on top of his cage.
He is trained to "step-up" on a perch, but does not like hands. He will hiss if you try to put your hands near him and enjoys being on his own. He does not get along well with other birds as he is very protective of his territory.
He would be best in a home of someone who has experience with training birds and would be best without small children and small fingers.
I have a cage for sale if you need one too. $75 for Daisy, $100 for large cage, $30 for smaller cage OBO
