I am selling my double Dark factor pastelinos black mask lovebirds. This is a proven pair and their color is extremely rare. These are not hybrid. Came from two separate solid black mask pairs. They are not related. This pair produces albino but I'm doing something wrong and tthe albino chicks haven't survived yet. They also produce young that look just like them including PURE WHITE! I figured maybe someone with a little more time and patience would like to have them.... (read more) They are genetically black birds with the pastel gene covering it so the look white.
If you split the pair and bred to another color you could produce single and double dark factor solid birds split pastel (so jade, olive, cobalt, and mauve). Yes you can split them up and give them new mates(no they don't pair for life, but yes don't expect them to immediately like their new mate if you do.). I'd rather keep them together since they produce the rarest black mask albino. I paid $300/bird a year ago. They are almost 2 yrs old. Very good parents. She always lays 5-6 eggs with almost 100% fertility. Both docile and neither bite. Will let you in their box. They have raised chicks to weaning. I have decided to narrow my target goals, so this pair needs to find a home.
I can meet reasonable distances. I can include a large cage for $20 more. Asking $300 for this amazing pair. I'm going to be sad to see them go.
i breed quality pure black mask lovebirds in hopes of producing show quality. We regularily have American parakeets as well, and some English parakeets on occassion. Sometimes I have a few other quality pet birds, and handfeed some other baby birds for pet/show purposes. Our goal is to produce true to type for showing purposes and to educate people, si if you have any questions please feel free to vontact me!.
