Chewy is 8 years old and needs a new home before May. We're pregnant with baby #2 and due the end of May. My husband works 70+ hours a week (chewy bonded with him) and isn't doing very well with my husband working so much. He's good with EVERYONE, has a bold personality and says a few words. He's SUPER picky with food and has always been on the thinner side because of this.
You have to have prior parrot/cockatoo experience to adopt him.... (read more) 700$ is firm! He'll come with his cage, food, toys, food storage containers and special seed dish. He's fully featherd, but has a spot the size of a thumb nail he's picked at since my husband started all these hours back in Nov.
You must be retired, or a work from home person because he has separation anxiety and has plucked in the past when both my husband and I worked long hours. He stopped as soon as I became a stay at home mom.
He's a cuddle bug and has only bitten when we didn't share ice cream with him or friends stuck their finger in his cage. These are expensive pets to have and need a lot of time! This is why I'm trying to find a new home for him now because I just can see what time he needs now.
When my husband and I originally adopted him we didn't intend on having kids and now with # 2 on the way its showing that he's not getting enough attention and its not fair to him. So please take into consideration before contacting me that they cost a lot of money to keep being they need fresh fruits and vegetables everyday and go through several pounds of nuts a month.
He was originally bought from Birds of Paradise and has papers that go along with his band and proven sex that he will also come with.
