Mia was hatched in 1980, trained, and I purchased her from a pet shop in the South Hills. She was sexed in the mid 80's by a Vet who had a practice outside of Mercer, PA. She was handled a lot in 80's and 90's and her training continued during these years - she learned to dance, riding on my shoulders, ride in a car on the back of the seat, could cut her toe nails with her standing on her perch. In the late 90's till now we did not get to play as much but she still remembers most of the items she was taught.... (read more) She doesn't come out of her cage much now cause I just don't have the time to do it. She gets along well with either males or females - but she has a habit of trying to scarce new persons that first meet her, but has not bitten anyone to date. I need to sell her to a loving home since I am preparing to move to a Senior Living Home.
