My husband got me this male cockatoo as a wedding present, as we recently just got married. The previous owner called it Fred. I've had it for a short time, and tried renaming him Tiki. Sadly, he's gotta go. I turned out to be allergic to him, and we live in an apartment and he is just way too loud. He has not gotten used to his new surroundings yet. Beautiful bird, but, not right for our home. Please do your research on these before you buy.... (read more) They bite, squawk, and require at least 2 hours of attention per day. He is a lesser sulfur cockatoo. He will come with his cage, and the 3.5 lb. bag of food if any is left by the time he finds a new home. Only serious and experience with cockatoos should inquire. He’s 20 years old. He will need a lot of patience. Not for apartment living. These birds are not for the short tempered or impatient people. He is not house trained; he will poop where he wants. Should go to someone who has experience with these birds or already has one. Please message me if you are interested. He can be aggressive. These birds are not for small children. Will not ship--you must live locally, or have means to pickup and transport.
