I have had this pair of dusky conures for 9 years. They are proven by me. I do not know their exact age. They have always been indoors, regularly dewormed, etc. They have always been healthy and gave babies. They do NOT like to be disturbed when they have babies. They will leave the nest. If you leave them alone until ready to pull the babies, you will do just fine. They will happily raise their babies but do not do a nest check every day/week. If you hear chirping, set the date out for 3.... (read more) 5 weeks. When you do check on them, you will need to pull the babies or they will abandon them. Only check on them if you plan on hand-feeding from that time on. Just a fair warning. I feel I should disclose that. They are sweet but shy and do not like you in their business. I usually pull the babies at 4 weeks. They did not breed this last year for me. There has been a lot of activity in the bird room and rearranging of cages. I think there was too much activity for them to be distracted by. I do not want to ship. Local pick up only.
