Tay-Tay is a 5 year old female Indian Ringneck. She was once a breeder with a mate, but was separated from him when her owners got divorced. She us friendly with other birds, but absolutely does not want human affection. However, she loves being out of her cage and socializing with the rest of the flock.
Recently, she discovered a cockstkel breeding box and her hormones are running wild! She wants to nest but my male isn't interested.... (read more)
I want her to go to a home where she can have a mate or be with someone who doesn't mind that she likes to do her own thing.
I reacued her about a year ago. She had no chest feathers, a severely injured foot, and her wings were also heavily plucked. She has since grown back most of her feathers! We couldn't even walk by her cage at first without her freaking out. Now she actively chooses to be in our presence.
TayTay needs some extra TLC! If you think you're a good fit for her, please reach out. We are not in a hurry, so she won't just go to anyone. I would preferably want someone with IRN knowledge or breeding experience.
