Hand-fed, beautiful, full feather, super tame, and super sweet 16yr old DNA-sexed male umbrella cockatoo. Literally the sweetest cockatoo I have ever come into contact with. He loves everyone and will go to and snuggle with anyone willing to pick him up or get close enough for him to hop on. He has no preference between males or females - if you have hands that can pet him then you're automatically in his good graces. He is however untrusting of smaller children, so my preference would be to rehome him to someone without any. He gets along wonderfully with dogs and cats, steps up, dances, cuddles, talks a bit, and snuggles like a CHAMP - loves to hang out in your sweatshirt and under your blanket with you on the couch and will stay there for hours if you let him. No vices other than the occasional standard umbrella squawking, and it usually lasts no more than a minute or so when you ignore it. Looking to rehome ONLY because of a recent divorce and need to increases work hours to meet finances now as the solo adult - I just unfortunately can't come up the time that he needs anymore, and I don't want him to start plucking or become neurotic - he is such a mild mannered and chill good boy. His large powder-coated cage, Roudybush pellets, playstand, and all toys are included when we find the right person.
