I am a retired nurse who loves pets! A pair of zebra finches joined my menagerie in 2022. They successfully raised five grays in their first brood, suggesting no mutations. These finches come from that first hatch. Their parents have shared a peaceful life as empty nesters ever since, just as my husband and I enjoy.
