Three Nest Mates Almost ready to Fly the Coop!

Born the week of Thanksgiving this year. Parents on site. Mother is Pineapple, father is yellow sided. The two older babies appear to be pineapple, the third doesn't have enough true feathers to tell yet. They are unsexed and will be looking for forever homes as soon as they are weaned.

(read more) Currently I have an 8 month old regular green cheek, and a proven breeding pair that are well bonded, female is turquoise and male is yellow sided. We are open to barter and trade. I am currently interested in a the variations of turquoise and violet for trades.

We do not ship birds for their protection

We are a small family operated farm and small business. We believe that every decision we make needs to be in alignment with creation and our family and business reflect that. We practice beyond organic farming and use holistic natural medicine. I make all of our birds food for the best nutrition possible. I also make hand feeding formula for all of our babies and wholesome nutrient dense treats. All of our babies are allowed to stay with their parents for the first two to three wks of their lives to ensure proper immunity and natural imprinting for their mental health. We then hand feed our babies til weaning to get them acclimated to humans. I also make our own essential oil feather spray with grapefruit, lavender, and frankincense. I also work to expose them to new experiences so they won't be flighty and teach them to step up. I do not clip wings and all the birds are encouraged to take flight before they are sold.

We are small now but have plans to grow our business in the future. We look forward to adding an outdoor avairy for our birds soon and are exploring options for creating a shelf stable dehydrated bird food for our birds too! Let me know if you would be interested in something like that and if there is enough interest i will try to speed up the process of creation ?
