I have 2 beautiful Double Yellow Headed Amazon Partots. The Female (DNA) is just under a year. The Male (DNA) is just over.
They have been hand fed and have been living in my living room for several months. They have not been handled much, as I was planning to make them a breeding pair. But they don’t bite and are gentle. But they will not step up. And don’t want to be picked up or held.

They both talk, and sing pretty good and are picking up new things every day. They DO NOT cuss. The favorite thing is he says “ what does the dog say?, she replies, woof-woof-woof” what does the cat say? She replies “meow-meow”” it’s adorable

I got them with the idea of breeding them, but my service dog and my grandson are afraid on the noise they can sometimes make.

I paid 12000 for them as a breeding pair and would ideal get at 10000 back if someone is buying them as BREEDERS for a business investment.

But, if you want to buy one as a PET only, I would let it go for 4500 to and EXPERIENCED home only because, even thought they were hand fed, they forgot some of it, as they are not 100% tame and need a bit of work to remind them of their full hand feeding roots.

Right now they each have their own cages.,They will come with their cage, natural perches, toys and a bag of the food they’re currently eating if you pick them up locally.
