this is Major Tom, or Major, a fully flighted male lutino Indian Ringneck. he is turning 2 in March.
Major is a beloved pet and companion. he was in freeflight training for 7 months but has recently had some issues with behavior. he's regressed quite a bit and fears hands and people.
i've worked with him for many months now, and ultimately decided he isn't getting everything he deserves in my home. so, i am looking to find a loving home with bird experience and the commitment to care for him.... (read more)
Major talks, he says "good boy" and "come here" and "beautiful" as well as several other babbles.
if anyone has interest in taking him, i would require a bit of a screening process. i want him to go to a home that will keep him fully flighted, no clipped wings. a home that will keep in contact with me and send pictures (he's my boy, i'll miss him like crazy).
