With a heavy heart I have to rehome my 2 1/2 year old female pied cockatiel :( Her name is oreo. I have other cockatiels who she seems to sometimes not get along with due to wanting all of the attention and getting jealous. I make sure to treat all of my babies the same but it seems as if she needs a household where she doesn’t share the love and attention with others which is something I cannot provide her. She is the sweetest girl ever, she loves head scratches and is flight trained as she flies directly to people.... (read more) She is very loving and not aggressive towards humans in any way. She’s joyful, playful, and loves having toys too shred or bite on. She also steps up when you place your fingers in front of her. I also forgot to mention that she’s able to open small doors of the cage on her own as a way of communicating that she wants to get out.
Her diet consists of fruits, veggies, pellets (mostly), seeds and occasional treats. Her wings are not clipped as she is flight trained but she will need practice flying and adjusting to her new home. She’ll have to get used to her new family but will make the best companion as she gets to know you more.
I raised her ever since she was a baby and have given her the best quality of life I was able to provide her. She’s a very happy and joyful bird so I want her to be rehomed with a loving and caring home who would continue giving her a good lifestyle. Therefore I am in no rush to rehome her until I find rightful owners.
I will include a list of the brands of her diet of seed and pellet (could easily be bought at Petco) including her hatch date.
Will meet up in LA area. Rehoming fee of $300, non negotiable, and you must bring your own cage/carrier.
