Additional Comments
I have recently been through a few major life changes, most recently losing my husband last year. After getting through this 1st year & going back to work full time I have come to see that it would be better to find homes for the birds I have. They unfortunately don’t get as much time out of their cages because of my schedule. That said, I have mostly tiels to rehome, a pair of lovebirds and a cockatoo. I used to rescue for years, many are older.... (read more) However, I am firmly looking for experienced people as well as like minded people who want to potentially keep my “fids” w/the same mindset I have which was they would be w/me until they passed. I am not looking to get rid of them or find that they bounce from home to home, so understanding birds and being willing to accept them as they are is key for me. I will be setting rehoming fees to weed out those that are not considering a long commitment to these babies. This is truly one of the last things I want to have to do. If interested I am happy to discuss them in more detail. I will list what I have here as well. Lovebirds are male/female bonded pair, single cockatiel about 5/6 years old, he is independent and nibbly since he never wants to go back in his cage, bonded pair of cockatiels about 8 and 4 yrs old, I have a set of six cockatiels (3 boys, 3 girls). Recently allowed them all to share a double cage (unique group - bonded pair male/female they are into their 20’s, bonded male pair 1 is around 15 and 1 about 6, 2 females (1 unknown age with a bit of a limp, and 1 around 15 who just lost her mate a few weeks ago). Over all they seem to be doing fine sharing the space. I have a Goffin’s cockatoo that I adopted from his original owner at 3 years old, he is about 20 now, loves to say Mommy about a million times a day, does know some words and likes to speak gibberish, hasn’t been a big talker and I even have a mourning dove that is about 8 years old but since he imprinted as a chick I couldn’t let him outside. Everyone would come with their cage as well. This is a HUGE deal for me, so only serious inquiries please.
Shipping Notes
