Born in early May, these little sweeties are ready for their next chapter. Ivy, Patches and Iris are expected to be female (can't guarantee that at this early age, not intended for breeding). Playful and sweet, some more shy than others. Currently living in a flock, they would be happiest with at least one other bird companion in addition to their human friend. It all started with a wintertime rescue of four birds who were going to be placed on the sidewalk in 2020; unwanted. To say it changed my life is an understatement. Long story short, have been hand-raising baby parakeets since 2021. Our flock chooses their own weening and fledging times, are offered fruits, vegetables and seeds daily (just like human children, not everyone likes to eat what's placed in front of them), and have plenty of free flight time....
